An energy-efficient residential development, “Pillar Iļģuciema mājas,” is currently under construction at 27/29 Spilves Street in Riga. The project comprises two seven-storey multi-apartment residential buildings, each featuring 55 apartments.
As part of the project, SIA ThermoWhite Baltic is providing the buildings’ thermal insulation solution using the ThermoWhite system. The seamless insulation technology enables the creation of a uniform and continuous insulation layer, contributing to improved thermal performance and energy efficiency of the buildings.
The buildings are designed to meet A+ energy-efficiency standards, with particular attention paid to modern comfort, energy efficiency and a high-quality living environment. The apartments will be delivered with full interior finishing and will range in size from approximately 43 to 86 m². Each apartment will feature a separate utility room, as well as a balcony or terrace.
The buildings will be equipped with individual ventilation systems with heat recovery, ensuring effective air exchange and a comfortable indoor climate. The development will also include private storage rooms on the ground floors, parking spaces, electric vehicle charging facilities, landscaped surroundings and a children’s playground.
The use of the ThermoWhite system complements the project’s comprehensive energy-efficiency solutions by providing a high-quality, continuous thermal insulation layer within the new building structures. This is particularly important in energy-efficient residential buildings, where high-quality insulation is one of the key factors in ensuring efficient energy use and a comfortable living environment.
In June 2026, the project celebrated the traditional topping-out ceremony, marking the completion of the buildings’ highest structural point. Construction is ongoing, with completion of the project scheduled for 2027.
