In August 2026, the construction of a modern multi-apartment residential building for employees of AS “Balticovo” was completed at 2A Raiņa Street in Iecava. With an investment exceeding €2 million, the project transformed an unfinished structure into a fully renovated three-storey residential building with a total area of 1,680.3 m², providing accommodation for approximately 120 people.
A key part of the renovation was improving the building’s thermal performance. ThermoWhite insulation technology was used to enhance the building’s thermal insulation, contributing to improved energy efficiency and greater comfort for its future residents. The ThermoWhite system was integrated as part of the comprehensive renovation of the building and its engineering infrastructure.
The project included an assessment and renovation of the existing load-bearing structures, the creation of a modern apartment layout, and the installation of completely new engineering systems, including heating and ventilation. The use of the ThermoWhite system formed an important part of the building’s overall thermal insulation solution.
The residential building was created by reconstructing an unfinished structure whose construction had originally begun during the Soviet era. The project demonstrates how an existing, incomplete building can be successfully transformed into a modern residential property by combining structural renovation, new engineering infrastructure and advanced insulation solutions.
